My daughter did 4 lessons with Pearlyn at Shangri-la when we were back for a holiday. Pearlyn is fantastic with kids and my daughter absolutely hit it off with her right from the beginning. At the end of the 4 lessons, my daughter was alot more confident in the water and could swim (with floats) on her own. Communication with Pearlyn was also very smooth and easy - Pearlyn responds quickly, is open and willing to accommodate schedules, and is always on time for the lessons. My daughter is already looking forward to having lessons with Pearlyn again the next time!

Coach Pearlyn is my 5 year-old daughter’s weekly swim coach. Coach Pearlyn is super patient, knows how to make lessons fun and teaches proper technique in a simple way that kids can understand. She is always on time and a pleasure to deal with. My daughter always looks forward to her weekly sessions (especially the stickers at the end!). High recommend!

We’re very thankful to Coach Pearlyn for helping our son overcome his fear of water. She was very patient, encouraging and took things at our son’s pace, which really helped build his confidence.
With her guidance, our son not only became comfortable in the water but also passed his SwimSafer Stage 2 test 🎉

Pearlyn did two lessons with my 7 year old daughter at the Shangri-La and in two lessons corrected kicking technique, sinking and over extended freestyle stroke. I couldn’t recommend Pearlyn more highly. She’s been exceptional.

Coach Pearlyn is an amazing swimming coach! Our little girl can now swim with confidence and enjoys the water so much more. As parents, it gives us great peace of mind knowing she has this skill. Our experience with Coach Pearlyn has been outstanding. Our daughter looks forward to every lesson and we are truly amazed by how quickly she has improved. We highly recommend Coach Pearlyn!

Coach Pearlyn has been an incredible source of support and guidance, helping my gal to overcome her fear of water with patience, encouragement, and expert instruction. From the very beginning, Coach Pearlyn took the time to build her confidence step by step, creating a safe and positive environment where she could gradually become more comfortable in the pool.
My gal looks forward to her swimming class every week.
Through consistent motivation and tailored lessons over a span of 1 1/3 year duration , Coach Pearlyn not only helped her to develop essential swimming skills but also instilled in her a sense of resilience and self-belief. Thanks to this unwavering support, my daughter recently achieved her SwimSafer Level 2 certification—a milestone that once felt out of reach, now proudly accomplished. My gal just turned 6 years old. Highly recommended to parents who are also looking for a swim coach who is able to empathise parents’ concerns and addresses them 👍

Coach Pearlyn has been really patient with my 6-year-old boy, who is very resistant and non-cooperative during his swimming lessons with her. She never raises her voice, instead she slowly speaks and comforts him to make him feels comfortable. My son is doing much better in her classes now and he is coordinating better in his breastroke.
Coach Pearlyn is very knowledgeable and resourceful. She's able to answer whatever children related topics, from schools, academics to curriculum and swimwear.
We are lucky to have her!
